Why Pastor Adeboye visits President Buhari in London

Nigerians have reacted to pastor Adeboye's visit to President Buhari in London
While many condemned it, some praised the man of God for the visit

Nigerians are however still not aware of the nature of the president's illness? Nigerians have continued to react to the visit of general overseer of the Redeemed Christian church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, to President Buhari in London.

The visit which was announced on Friday, August 18 has generated mixed reactions from Nigerians. While some praised the man of God, many criticized him for making the trip to visit the president who is currently in London for medical treatment.

The nature of the president sickness has been kept private as his aides continue to tell Nigerians that the president's health status is not for public consumption despite his position as the number 1 citizen of the country.

In his reaction, Omotor Larry Aghogho said: "What is Adeboye doing with Buhari in London? What kind of visit is this? All these Nigeria pastors are always after their investments nothing more.

Ijk Pasteur wrote: "Ntooo to those seeing you as God. You've been silent over the atrocities going on in Nigeria, but quick to visit Buhari who couldn't arrest one single person when a pastor of your church was once killed. I'm sure there'll be a place in between heaven and hell." Enobong Udoh on his part noted that:

"Instead of religions leaders to stand with the poor masses and condemn the high level of corruption and Fulani herdsmen killing defenseless citizens, they are seen shaking their hands and smiling in front of Camera, cant imagine Jesus going to shake Pilate hand and smiling." Here are other reactions to the visit:

the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, visited President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, August 18 at the Abuja House, London.
