Wizkid inspires me so much - Cassper Nyovest #CAPontheRun

Johannesburg – Cassper Nyovest let us in on some local acts that he draws inpiration from. On Tuesday the rapper tweeted about two African musos that inspire him – one being Wizkid (who recently wowed fans at a performance in Brussels), and the other being Black Coffee. 


“Wizkid inspires me so much man. I know we doin 2 different genres of music bt I dream of a day where SA Hip Hop travels the world like that (sic),” his first tweet read.

Cassper then showed some love to SA DJ Black Coffee. “Black Coffee also inspires the fuck outa me. He’s becoming 1 of the biggest Dj’s in the world and he doesn’t even get high rotation at home (sic).”

In two other tweets Cassper also shared his pros and cons on the local Hip Hop industry. “The biggest problem with SA Hip Hop, is SA Hip Hop. 2 worried bout stupid shit either dan pushing the culture forward & applauding each other (sic),” he wrote, adding that the good thing about SA Hip Hop is how “competitive” is it. “Ain’t no flukes/amateurs out here making it to the top. Only Gorillas ouchea!!!”
