It's always the way, just when you get everyone together for the perfect group photo, some celebrity comes along and ruins it.
Arnold
Schwarzenegger got in trouble with a group of Thai tourists this week,
when he photobombed their Eiffel Tower shot. The 69-year-old actor was
on a bike ride when he invaded the picture, and the group wasn't happy.
They
later described how they'd failed to recognise the Hollywood legend and
one of the tourists, Lek Wattana was even quoted as saying: ”We all
went to Paris on a group tour and we all got together for a picture in
front of the Eiffel Tower.
”Then some foreigner on a bike stopped in front of the group. I was thinking to myself ‘why is he so rude?’."
Arnold
later took to Instagram to thank the ungrateful tourists for their
time, writing: "Fantastic bike ride through Paris. I cannot say this
enough: to truly appreciate a city, get on a bike. Thank you to the
tourists at the Eiffel Tower for letting me crash your photo!"
The Terminator actor was in France to receive the country's Commander
of the order of the Legion of Honor medal. It was in honour of Arnie's
commitment to his environmental work and was presented to him by
President Francois Hollande himself.
He's clearly getting as much
use out of that bike as he can, before he takes delivery of his new
taxi. The purchase, from Coventry-based London Taxi Company was
confirmed last month.
The former Governor of California is a
long-time fan of the famous London taxi and was one of hundreds of
US-based customers to buy a black cab more than a decade ago, paying
thousands to have one shipped to California back in 2003.
Let's hope they're environmentally friendly enough...
