A case of suicide has been registered for Tiyiselani Mpangane’s death
A University of Cape Town (UCT) actuarial sciences student has been found dead in a university residence.The 20-year-old was found in her room at Obz Square on Tuesday.
Those who knew her would remember her as a kind, humble and caring person, and a conscientious student, acting vice-chancellor Daya Reddy said in a statement on Thursday.
“The untimely death of a person, especially someone so young, is always difficult to understand and to accept.”
Reddy said UCT would distribute details of her memorial and funeral service once these were known.
